Genkel's in the Netherlands Catharina Eckhert Genkel (1801) is the only known Dutch Genkel. Further we have information about the surname "van Genkel". We assume this typical Netherlands naming speciality was derived from the name Genkel in earlier times, but we dont't have evidences supporting that.
